Southland Utility Services, Inc. was founded in 1998 to provide utility construction support for Choctawhatchee Electric Cooperative (CHELCO) and has always operated under a core group of values that include integrity, safety, quality, customer service, team work, pride and a positive attitude! These services have grown to include utility construction for municipalities, communication companies, and other utility companies in the Southeast. Southland Utility Services, Inc. currently employs around 50 employees and is one of the largest employers in Defuniak Springs, Florida.
